The Story
The studies are clear; breaks aren't a 'nice to have' they are essential to optimise mental performance. But why do so many of us struggle to take the breaks we need? It’s one of life’s quandaries; the organisation encourages staff to take breaks but yet still people don’t take the quality of breaks they need to adequately recover. This insight arose in clients as diverse as doctors, nurses, teachers, scientists and more. Knowledge wasn’t enough, staff clearly needed some help to change their behaviour. To protect themselves and contribute their skills and insights. Hence Recharge & Recognition was born.
“Based on the pilots our view is that measuring restorative breaks is the single most effective tool to support and manage team mental wellbeing.”
